Foxtel commits to third season of Easy Tiger, CBS Studios’ Colin From Accounts

Colin From Accounts will be back for a third season

Australian pay TV broadcaster Foxtel has renewed comedy Colin From Accounts for a third season, with original series creators, Patrick Brammell and Harriet Dyer returning as co-writers, EPs and acting leads.

Season three will be produced by Easy Tiger Productions and CBS Studios with international distribution outside of Australian and New Zealand handled by Paramount Global Content Distribution.

The renewal also signals that despite the landmark US$2.1 billion change of ownership at Australia’s oldest subscription TV provider, new owners DAZN are maintaining its commitment to investing in local original content.

Foxtel/Binge, commissioned the original series from Easy Tiger in 2022. It has been licensed to more than 150 territories around the world and has garnered several international and local awards.

Easy Tiger founders Rob Gibson and Ian Collie, said: “We’re so thrilled that our friends at Binge, CBS Studios, and our many international partners have made another season of Colin possible. Then again, did anyone really have a choice after that season two ending?”

Seasons one and two stream in Australia on the Binge platform and are also available on Hubbl, and via Foxtel’s On Demand service.

Internationally, the comedy series  is available on Paramount+ in the US, with sales of both seasons made to BBC2 and BBC iPlayer in the UK, CityTV/CityTV+ in Canada, Cosmote in Greece, YES in Israel, SVT in Sweden, NRK in Norway, DRTV/DR1 in Denmark, YLE Areena/YLE TV2 in Finland, MNET 101 in Pan Africa, Universal+ in Latin America and RTE 2 in Ireland.
